Booker Dewitt is the main protagonist in Irrational Games's critically acclaimed games of 2013, Bioshock Infinite.
Biography[]
Booker Dewitt owes the wrong people money. The type of people that make you wish that you never knew. To wipe away his debt he must travel to the city in the sky, Columbia to retrieve a girl with mysterious powers. On his voyage he encounters foes the likes the world has never seen.
Arcade[]
Opening
After finding Elizabeth again Booker tries to convince her to follow him. Seeing a tear Elizabeth looks at it and Booker tries to hurry her along. Not listening Elizabeth opens the tear transporting her and Booker into another reality. Lost and confused the two decide to search the area for a way back to Columbia or at least their own reality. Elizabeth sees another tear and opens it bringing a Voxophone into the reality that tells of a great power. Curious to what it is Booker and Elizabeth set out to find it thinking it will be what they need to get back home.
Rival - Chell
Reason - Booker and Elizabeth are walking when Chell suddenly comes out a portal and scares the two of them. Booker asks Chell what she just did, Elizabeth asking if she can see tears like she can. Noticing the device on Chells hand Elizabeth thinks that it would better allow her to control tears and asks if she may see it. Chell holds the Portal Gun close to her and shakes her head. Booker asks nicely but gets angry as Chell denies to give up the Portal Gun and she points it at him. Seeing no other way than to fight Booker tells Chell he won't take it easy on her just because she's a girl.
Connection - Chell is locked away in a testing facility much like how Elizabeth is locked away on Monument Island. Both Chell and Elizabeth are both test subjects. Chell escapes on her own, while Elizabeth requires the help of Booker DeWitt to escape. While Columbia is high up in the sky Aperture Labs is far underground. Chell and Elizabeth both open portals in a sense.
Ending
Elizabeth opens a tear using the power she's obtained finally being able to control it. When the two return to their reality in Columbia they notice that there is a civil war between the Vox Populi and the Founders. Booker tries to convince Elizabeth to just open a tear and the two of them escape Elizabeth refuses stating that she can control tears now and that she can finally make Columbia the utopia it was meant to become.
