Reception[]
Reviews for Ryu were highly positive. Most deemed that Ryu was hugely fit to make the roster for the PlayStation All-Stars sequel since he has been a skilled fighter, especially making guest appearances aside from the Street Fighter series. Ever since Ryu was a downloadable fighter in Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS & Wii U, this drew attention to the developers who previously worked on PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, stating that it would be unanimous to vote on Ryu being put in to the PlayStation All-Stars sequel. Many were mightily impressed about Ryu's palettes and colors, stating that the developers gazed through a specific source to get "all those" palettes for the "collection of one".
